We provide a confidential, inclusive space for adults, young adults, couples, families, and youth navigating a wide range of mental health concerns and life challenges. We now offer direct billing for most insurance providers
Our counsellors hold master's degrees in counselling psychology and related fields, and are registered with professional bodies recognized by most major insurance providers. Direct billing is available for eligible plans, and sliding-scale fees are offered for clients experiencing financial hardship.

Lauren Howard, MA, MC, CCC
A certified EMDR therapist with 12+ years of experience in trauma recovery, C-PTSD, and work-related trauma, Lauren also brings specialized experience supporting first responders, Veterans, and LGBTQ+ and Trans communities. Her approach draws from IFS, CBT, DBT, and attachment-focused EMDR. (GST-exempt)
Niquita Eng, CCPCP
Niquita works with individuals and couples navigating relationship challenges, stress, burnout, and self-worth concerns. Her approach is warm and emotionally attuned, with a particular focus on attachment patterns, communication, and men's mental health.
Monja Brink, CCPCP, ICADC
Monja is a trauma-informed counsellor supporting youth, adults, families, newcomers to Canada, and LGBTQIA2S+ individuals through anxiety, depression, burnout, life transitions, and substance-related concerns. She integrates evidence-based approaches with mindfulness and practical guidance.
Tina Comeau, BPE, MTC
Tina is the founder of Vernon Counselling and a Master Therapeutic Counsellor with 12+ years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. She specializes in CBT and draws from a range of modalities, with a holistic approach informed by her background in physical education and applied psychology. (Online sessions only)
